Riding A Whirlwind

     Wow, today has just seemed like a blur! That might be partially due to not getting the early start on the day that I'm accustomed to; since we were up until almost three this morning watching Courageous, I let myself sleep in until later in the morning. I did wake up at my regular time and keep myself awake for a little while just to keep the habit though.
     Spent some time in the morning after breakfast working on school, but then got sidetracked with the multitude of house projects flying around.
I helped my dad finish hanging up some drywall on a new partition wall to create a bedroom for the little ones, and then worked on building the door frame for the new door on the wall and and installing the door. It's been a couple years since I put up a door jam with a door so I was a little rusty, but after a little troubleshooting it came back enough to get the job done. Our projects have come under new management, if you will, or at least a new M.O. which I've enjoyed greatly with the view that it is a large step in the right direction.
     Later in the afternoon, our family took off to the local pizzeria buffet to have a great time with lots of food -- I managed to put away 8 slices of pizza, a plate of pasta and sauce, 4-5 breadsticks, 4 slices of desert pizza, a bowl of cinnamon rolls, and a couple bowls of ice cream. I was imagining myself as the blueberry girl on Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory being rolled out of the store. I think I felt like her more than I looked like her though, thank goodness!
    Arrived back home, finished hanging the door after a few minor complications, and tried to work off some of the lunner or dunch or whatever you call those meals between lunch and dinner. I've only got one week left to complete my goals for school, I need to finish strong and on time next week. Going to saw some logs now. Looking forward to a great time of worship at church, fellowship with believers, more food, personal prayer, lots of time for Bible study, maybe some guitar, and video chatting with our Aunt tomorrow.
