An Accomplishment!

     Today was a long day. Highlight of the day was being able to finish Revelation chapter 1 at guys' group tonight! We started to go through Revelation back in October I think, but it took quite a while for me to figure out how exactly I was going to teach through the book since I was quite the novice at eschatology. I've learned more than I've taught as we've studied through the book, although there have been many times when I have felt very inadequate. Thanks be to God who has
given me understanding and the ability to persevere. After last week's rather discouraging study, this week was a breath of fresh air. I really felt like I had prepared well and the Lord provided me with the grace to present the lesson in what I felt was at least a passing manner. It was great to finally finish the first chapter as well.
     Yesterday I started back to work again after vacation and had a slow but profitable day. Business is slow to get going again after having to bring it to a screeching halt this past late summer/early fall due to an unexpected change of plans with regards to schooling. Made it home for dinner and turned around again to attend a Zija conference with a friend. Zija is an organic, botanical supplement made from the Moringa tree; it has an amazing resume' and seems to be growing in sales like wild fire. The presentation was fascinating, but I'm not really interested in any network marketing jobs at the present. My focus right now is to get into Bible college and begin training to teach Bible. I've committed 1 Peter 1:1-17 to memory so far, a little bit closer to my New Year's resolution of memorizing the entire book before mid-July.
     Ahh, well, the body calls for rest, so until next time...
